Possibilities have ranged from moving in with Princess Eugenie and her young family at their luxury villa in Portugal, to settling in a converted cattle shed on Princess Beatrice’s Cotswolds property.

Another suggestion was that she could temporarily relocate to Australia to stay with her older sister, Jane Ferguson Luedecke.

But a spokesperson for Sarah Ferguson has now shut down one of the strongest rumours, telling People that speculation about her moving into either daughter’s home is “not correct.”

The clarification comes as Fergie and her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, face the end of their decades-long residency at Royal Lodge. The pair received an official eviction notice from King Charles III in late October, tied directly to their long-standing association with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
