A Party at the Royal Family’s Private Estate

The image, made public by the US Department of Justice last week, reportedly shows Andrew at the Royal Family’s Sandringham estate during a raucous birthday party held for Jeffrey Epstein’s then-girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell.

In the photograph, Andrew is seen lying across the laps of five women, while Maxwell, a convicted sex trafficker, appears in the background.

According to The Mail on Sunday, the picture was taken in the saloon room at the Norfolk estate in December 2000 to mark Maxwell’s 39th birthday.

Allegations of Disturbing Aftermath

Author Robert Jobson, citing a palace source, claimed that staff at Sandringham discovered condoms, lubricants, and sex-enhancing drugs in the bathrooms following the party.

The release of the photograph would be deeply upsetting for the Royal Family, according to author Andrew Lownie.

“(Sandringham) is one of their private inner sanctums and they will be appalled that Andrew treated it as just another place to have fun and show off to his friends,” Mr Lownie told the publication.
