1. Clove and Rice Toner for Large Pores
Ingredients:
- Whole Cloves: 5 – 7
- Water (Filtered or Distilled): 1 cup (240 ml)
- White Rice (not instant): 1/4 cup
Recipe:
- Prepare Clove Water: Boil 1 cup of water and add the cloves. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 – 10 minutes. Let it cool completely. Strain out the cloves and set the liquid aside.
- Prepare Rice Water: Rinse the 1/4 cup of rice once. Place the clean rice in a small bowl and pour 1/2 cup of the cooled Clove Water over it. Let the rice soak for 30 – 60 minutes.
- Combine: Gently stir the rice and clove water mixture, then strain the liquid (the rice toner) into a clean, airtight container. Discard the rice.
Benefit: Help reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, soothe skin, and provide mild tightening effects.

2. Clove and Turmeric Toner for Dark Spots
Ingredients:
- Whole Cloves: 5 – 7
- Water (Filtered or Distilled): 1 cup (240 ml)
- Turmeric Powder: 1/4 teaspoon (use a small amount to minimize staining)
