Guards dragged the boy through the corridors and threw him out of the gate like trash.

“The next time you come back,” Helena sneered, “I’ll make sure you fall harder.”

That night, Eli cried — not from hunger, but from losing the only person who had ever cared for him.

The Discovery

Days later, starving and weak, Eli searched through garbage again.

And there it was.

Another medicine box.

Same label. Same brand. Same pills.

His heart stopped.

“I was right,” he whispered. “They’ve been poisoning her.”

Clutching the box, Eli ran toward the mansion — only to arrive as an ambulance carried Mila away, unconscious.

Helena screamed at him.
“This is YOUR fault!”

Victor followed the stretcher without looking back.

Eli collapsed in the dirt.

Five Days Later

Eli woke up in a hospital.

Mila had begged her father to save her friend too.

Barely able to walk, Eli dragged himself down the hospital hallway — only to be cornered by Helena, who raised her hand to strike him.

“Enough.”

Victor’s voice thundered through the corridor.

For the first time, he stood between his wife and the boy.

The Truth Exposed

With shaking hands, Eli explained everything.

The trash.
The timing.
The pills.
