The Prince and Princess of Wales shared their festive greeting earlier today (18 December), releasing a family photo featuring their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

A Relaxed Family Portrait

The image, shared on Kensington Palace’s social media channels, shows the family seated in a field dotted with yellow and white flowers. Ten-year-old Princess Charlotte rests her head on her father’s shoulder while holding his arm, creating a tender moment.

Seven-year-old Prince Louis appears completely at ease, leaning back between William’s legs, while Kate wraps her arms around her eldest son, 12-year-old Prince George.

“Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas,” the message inside the card reads.

Criticism Over Timing and Setting

Despite the warm family moment, the card sparked criticism online. Some commenters were quick to note that the photograph was taken months before the festive season began. Others tracked down the photographer, Josh Shinner, discovering that the shoot took place in April in Norfolk.
