Founded after Harry and Meghan stepped back from senior royal duties and relocated to Los Angeles in 2020, Archewell has focused on a wide range of causes. Over the past year, the organisation has worked on promoting safer digital spaces, responsible development of artificial intelligence, and providing support for children affected by conflict in Gaza and Ukraine.
In a statement shared with People, the organisation explained that the name change reflects a new chapter. It said the shift allows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to expand their global philanthropic efforts as a family, while remaining grounded in the same values, partnerships and commitment to making a positive impact.
Together, the new family photo, festive video and charity update paint a picture of a Christmas season focused on togetherness, reflection and giving back.
