Since resuming engagements, she has placed particular emphasis on the UK’s creative sectors and heritage industries.

In September, Kate visited textile manufacturers in Suffolk and Kent, where she met artisans and praised the resurgence of traditional craftsmanship. Kensington Palace described these visits as a tribute to the long and rich history of Britain’s textile industry. Shortly afterward, she wore a scarf from Sudbury Silk Mills during the U.S. State Visit at Windsor Castle.
The couple continued this theme during a trip to Northern Ireland the following month, where they toured a family-owned cider orchard and learned about traditional flax harvesting used in linen production.
