His exit comes just weeks after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed that the Archewell Foundation would be rebranded as Archewell Philanthropies.

Holt, who first worked with Prince Harry during his time at Kensington Palace and later relocated to Los Angeles with the couple following their decision to step back from royal duties in 2020, confirmed his departure in a statement released on Monday.

“Working alongside Prince Harry and Meghan has been one of the greatest honors of my career,” Holt said. He reflected on his journey from collaborating with Harry eight years ago on initiatives to improve mental health support for British soldiers, to more recent efforts aiding injured children in Gaza. Throughout, he noted, Harry continually pushed him to think more boldly about creating meaningful impact.

Holt also shared his admiration for Meghan, recalling that from their first meeting, he saw in her a kindred spirit—someone who remains joyful even in challenging circumstances and connects genuinely with people from all walks of life.
