While Anne hasn’t always agreed with her nephew Prince William, sources claim the two are united on this issue. Reportedly, Anne believes it would be “madness” for King Charles to consider reconciliation or forgiveness—particularly where Meghan is concerned.
“She thinks it’s outrageous that Charles would even entertain the idea,” the insider added, claiming Anne is strongly opposed to allowing Meghan “anywhere near” the royal inner circle.
This mirrors earlier reports suggesting Prince William has urged his father to cut ties with the Sussexes altogether. According to sources, William believes Harry and Meghan are “shamelessly taking advantage” of the king, especially given his declining health. Princess Anne is said to share that concern.
“If Meghan were to return to the U.K. and find herself in the same room as Anne or Camilla, she’d be met with ice-cold resistance,” the source claimed. “It would be an incredibly intimidating situation.”
