In the viral footage, Prince William can be seen greeting members of the public as he walks alongside his children. At one point, a well-wisher offers Princess Charlotte a small bouquet, which she accepts with poise and a polite smile. Moments later, William is handed a large red Lindt Lindor chocolate ball by someone in the crowd.

“It’s for Louis,” a voice calls out.

Without hesitation, Prince Louis reaches forward and grabs the chocolate straight from his father’s hand. He spins around happily, clutching it to his chest, clearly delighted with his prize. Prince William laughs, gently ruffles his son’s hair, and jokingly says, “Yeah, Louis, I thought that might happen.”

A bystander later described the moment to HELLO! magazine, saying that Louis hugged the chocolate tightly, did a little twirl, and seemed very reluctant to move on. According to the witness, he was clearly thrilled and not ready to let it go.

For many viewers, the clip was charming, funny, and entirely in character for the youngest Wales child. But not everyone saw it that way.
