This Saturday, January 10, a high-intensity protest targeting Donald Trump’s administration will take place just 13 minutes from the Sussexes’ luxury estate, sending shockwaves through the elite coastal community.
The rally, organized by Indivisible Santa Barbara, is aimed at condemning what activists describe as the Trump administration’s “military abduction of Venezuela’s president” and the fatal shooting of a woman by an ICE agent in Minnesota—two events that have ignited national fury.
Scheduled for 10 a.m. on Upper State Street, the demonstration will unfold alarmingly close to the Riven Rock neighborhood, where Harry and Meghan live with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Community liaison Myra Paige did not mince words, warning that America is facing a direct attack on its foundations.
“What we’re witnessing right now is an assault on our democracy, our Constitution, and our human rights—and we will not stay silent,” she said.
The protest follows intense backlash over the January 3 U.S. military operation in Venezuela, which allegedly resulted in the capture of President Nicolás Maduro and the bombing of Caracas.
