It has been almost five years since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s headline-making sit-down with Oprah. Now, the couple have appeared at an event hosted by Winfrey once again, this time in support of a cause they have long championed.

Supporting a Message Close to Their Hearts

Harry and Meghan took part in a book launch organized by Oprah Daily, formerly known as O, The Oprah Magazine.

The event celebrated the release of An Amazing Generation by Catherine Price, a book that encourages children and teenagers to reconnect with life away from screens and reduce reliance on digital devices.

The Duke and Duchess, aged 41 and 44 respectively, joined the launch via Zoom, where they emphasized the importance of the book’s warning about the risks of a “phone-based childhood.”

Harry addressed how digital environments can “deeply affect” society’s “mental, emotional and physical health,” and praised the author for highlighting the impact of social media on young people.

“A huge congratulations to you and the outcome of your research which has created a parent-led movement,” Harry said.
