I replied coldly, "You can forget about it. I won't give this to you. The police have taken photos, and I will pursue this to the end. Now, please take that beast to leave. Don't dirty this place any further."
Damon spoke up for her. "Suzanne! Don't go too far!"
"Damon, if you want to grovel, do it on your own. Don't try to drag me down with you. If you're not disgusted, I am!
"Tomorrow we'll go to the City Hall and get a divorce."
"Don't even think about it!" Damon was furious. As I passed by him, he struck the urn heavily with his fist.
He put all his strength into that punch, causing the urn to fall to the ground.
The lid flew off, and the porcelain doll inside shattered into pieces, mingling with the soil.
"Ah!" I screamed in despair, grabbing the empty urn and smashing it hard against Damon. Then I knelt on the ground, trembling as I tried to gather the fragments and piece the doll back together.
Damon recognized the doll. His heart clenched, and he shouted in anguish, "How is this doll here? Where is Glenda? Did something happen to her?"
He frantically searched for his phone, trembling as he called Glenda's attending doctor who was also his friend.
