In the end, the staff of the Child Protective Service sent us to a welfare home.
In an adult's mental state, I was doing well here. Only my younger brother, who had been spoilt for too long, couldn't get used to the living conditions. So, he was often bullied.
He even tried to ask me to help him.
It was kind enough for me not to bully him.
In the welfare home, I had a very happy and fulfilling life.
I felt as though I was on the threshold of a new life.
