I was excited. Jocelyn would call me.
You would know that the person lying on the slab was me.
"No need. She is not qualified to know my schedule."
"You'd better call her. The criminal has not been caught yet. Tell Theresa not to run around during these days."
Jocelyn laughed sarcastically.
"No matter who is in trouble, nothing will happen to her. No one is more timid than her. I just hope she doesn't cause any trouble for me. Even if she dies, she'd better stay far away from me."
I thought, “Jocelyn, I cannot stay far away from you.
I'm right next to you.”
"After all these years, can't you still forget what had happened?"
"My mother lost her legs in order to save her, but she didn't even shed a tear or say a word. She is a demon. A cold-blooded monster like her shouldn't be alive. I feel sick every time I see those eyes that look like mine."
Jocelyn suddenly turned around and looked at me.
Had she remembered anything?
Had she recognized my eyes?
However, she looked at the iron stick next to me.
"She is only in her early twenties. If possible, I would rather have that inhuman monster lying here."
Every time Jocelyn mentioned me, she was full of hatred.
This time, I finally made her happy.
