Kenny rushed to the bedside and cried.

I turned my head desperately, trying to see Kenny, but I saw him secretly breathing a sigh of relief.

Then he leaned close to my ear and whispered, "Melody, just go.

"Don't worry. I will take over your business. I have arranged all your property. Don't worry."

I was anxious and angry, but I had no strength left, so I could only see him smile smugly.

"As for the child, Lizzie has raised my son for more than ten years. It's time for you to step aside for her."

To outsiders, it looked like Kenny was holding me in his arms as he said his final goodbye.

No one knew what vile things he was saying to me.

My eyes were red, and I could hardly see his appearance. Before I could say anything, I died.

I was too resentful. I actually opened my eyes again!

Kenny was sitting beside me, looking at me with care. "Melody, what's wrong with you? Why are you sweating so much all of a sudden?"

I was terrified, as if I could still feel the pain. It tortured me.

And now, I was sitting on the sofa, safe and sound.

I was born again!

When I realized this, I almost cried with joy.

Kenny held my hand and asked in confusion, "Melody, why are you ignoring me?"
