Thick black clouds of smoke billowed into the sky, and the floor where Xavier lived was burned black.
Xavier couldn't remember how he managed to finish that long road. When he recovered from a fright, the onlookers had already blocked him, who was trying to rush into the fire. After pleading in vain, he could only grab a fireman desperately.
Xavier knelt in front of the fireman in terror, tears streaming down his face.
"Please, please save my daughter..."
The fireman asked for Xavier's room number and verified it with his teammates. Then, with profound sorrow on his face, he replied Xavier.
"When we broke in, the child was already..."
The fireman couldn't bear to continue, but the result was obvious.
Another fireman led Xavier to claim the body. The little child was lying quietly on the white cloth, the whole body charred black.
Xavier didn't dare to look again. It was so cold that he felt as if his heart had been torn out and crushed.
Xavier covered the white cloth, trembling and muttered.
"You're liars. This is not my daughter..."
Angela was so beautiful and lovely. How could she be like this?
She must be hiding somewhere safe, waiting for Xavier to pick her up.
