Before Pedro could take a look at his cell phone, it was connected to a big screen. He opened WhatsApp and saw that the latest message was from an account without a name.
"Call me back when you see my message!" It was a short sentence!
Pedro looked dull and yet expectant.
"According to our rules, Pedro, please call this friend of yours."
"It happens that you have to call back," Cindy Smith said coyly.
Pedro clicked on the voice call button.
"Beep, beep beep."
After 30 seconds, it was connected!
"Hey!"
He spoke gently, and everyone's eyes lit up!
"It's me, Pedro."
He had never spoken so gently before. The look in his eyes had changed from the moment the phone was connected!
"I know. Have you finished your work? I have something to discuss with you."
The lady over the call spoke gently.
"I'm still busy. Go ahead."
Hearing his brief reply, the lady on the other end of the line fell silent.
"Hello? Are you still there?"
"Yes, I'm listening!"
The host signaled Pedro to pay attention to the time. Pedro asked again, "If it is not convenient for you to talk now, let's meet later."
His words caused the crowd to gasp!
"Pedro, I... I'm pregnant!"
"Oh my god!" The host couldn't help exclaiming.
