Not only my dad but even my mom didn't want to take me with her.
In the evening, when my dad was not around, I hugged my mom and cried out of breath.
"You can't go. He wants to kill you. I don’t want to be a child without a mom! A child without a mom will be bullied by others!"
My mom rubbed my head and promised me.
"Don't worry. I will come back safely. I can't bear to let my baby be bullied by others."
There was a strange look in my mom's eyes. For a moment, I even felt that the person who would fall off the cliff tomorrow might be my dad.
Even though my mom had known my dad’s intention, I was still uneasy.
The next day, when they just left home, I sneaked out and took a taxi to the foot of the mountain with the pocket money I had saved for a long time.
But I was only six years old and I didn’t have a lot of energy. It didn't take long for my legs to go weak and I couldn't walk anymore.
I climbed and rested. When I climbed halfway up the mountain, someone around me shouted in shock.
"Look, someone seems to have jumped off the cliff!"
Passers-by all stopped to look.
