Sometimes I deleted the outline, sometimes I changed it.

Once I got busy, time passed quickly.

I was immersed in the career I loved and even didn't notice when Jacob came back.

"Abby?"

I turned around and realized that someone was standing behind me.

"Jacob, you're back," I replied coldly. After saving the draft, I immediately turned off the computer.

He was typing back with a smile on his face, but the smile disappeared after he put away his phone.

"Why didn't you reply to my message?" he asked angrily.

I couldn’t understand why he became angry. He often missed my calls, and there were very few messages back.

"I was busy, so I didn't notice."

He said that to me countless times in the past and now I returned it to him.

He probably thought that I was still angry.

Jacob explained, "Hailey's stomach hurt badly that day. You know, she's like a boy who doesn't even know that she's having her period. I didn't have time to go to the hospital. I didn’t ask you about it because I thought you would go home yourself."

"Okay." I didn't care at all.

What happened between them had nothing to do with me.

"By the way, why were you in the hospital?" Jacob seemed to have finally noticed this detail.
