I shouted into the phone, "Veda! Don't you know that the nanny went back to her home a week ago? Anna is only three years old, and you left her alone at home. If anything happens to her, I won't let you go!"
After saying that, I hung up the phone.
After I got my phone, the first thing I saw was a message from the nanny. Her husband had a car accident and she had to resign and rush back to take care of him.
The time was a week ago.
If the nanny sent me a message, it meant she also sent this message to Veda. So, Veda should know it.
Just thinking that Anna had been home alone for almost a week, I was going crazy.
When I got home, I prayed for my daughter's safety while hurriedly opening the door.
Soon, the door opened, and there was silence.
"Anna! Anna, Daddy's back!
Where are you?"
I looked everywhere for my daughter and my face was covered with tears.
My precious daughter, you must be safe.
Finally, I found her in the bedroom on the second floor.
My little girl was lying quietly on the floor, holding a family photo tightly.
I rushed up and held her in my arms, crying uncontrollably.
"Anna, hold on, Dad will take you to the hospital."
