I smiled. I grabbed her phone. "Then you tell me your phone password first. You might die before me," I said.

Madelyn's expression changed. A trace of malice appeared in her eyes. "What nonsense are you talking about?!" she snapped.

I raised my eyebrows. I was about to enter the password on her phone.

Madelyn snatched the phone back. She decisively stuffed it into her pocket. "I can't remember the password. I usually use face recognition," she said.

I pretended to sigh. Suddenly, I acted as if I had thought of something. "It's okay. You can input my face data into your phone," I suggested.

Madelyn ignored my words. She placed a hand on my slightly bruised leg. She clenched her fist tightly.

My injury was completely an accident. Madelyn wanted to use this to control me.

I had no intention of telling her the passwords, so Madelyn's face darkened. She picked up her bag. She wanted to leave.

"Since you're not in any serious condition. There's no point in me staying here. I'll go shopping first," she said.

I grabbed Madelyn's hand and smiled brightly. "Madelyn, I was just joking. You can look at my phone whenever you want," I said.

I still told her all the passwords.
