"That's right," Jacob wiped his tears and said, "Chloe, let's go. Dad ordered your favorite steak."
I hugged Jacob with a smile and walked inside together.

After dinner, Madison couldn't wait to speak. "Chloe, Dr. Turner has been waiting for a long time. You should go..."
I interrupted Madison before she finished speaking. "Are you in a hurry? Instead of asking about my feelings first, you're concerned about my health. How considerate of you."
Jacob coughed twice and seemed to feel quite embarrassed.
"Oh, Chloe, what are you talking about?" Madison hurriedly tried to smooth things over. "Health always comes first."
I smiled faintly and didn't respond. I walked towards the room where the doctor was.
"You are Ms. Chloe Miller, right?" The doctor sat down and said with a smile, "Please allow me to examine you."
I stared at his face.
"Which hospital are you from?" I suddenly asked, "What's your name?"
The doctor was stunned for a moment and seemed hesitant. "I am Jack Turner, the vice president of Marindale Hospital. Don't worry. My qualifications definitely meet your requirements."
