However, this became an excuse for his arrogance.

I ignored Max and drove home.

My parents bought me the villa. I could not wait to go back and throw all of Max's things out. I felt sick just thinking about it.

When I got home, I saw the servant, Linda Perry, standing at the door and sighing.

Even through the door with excellent sound insulation, I could hear the noise inside.

"Linda, what's going on?" I asked with a frown

I was happy to see Linda again. After all, she had taken care of me since I was a child.

Linda sighed, "Stella, your mother-in-law and some of her relatives are here."

She wiped her bloodshot eyes. Obviously, she had just cried. "They... They said I was a servant and not worthy of staying in the same room with them, so they kicked me out."

Upon hearing this, I got furious. "Linda, you are a family member, not a servant."

I suppressed my anger and forced a smile. Then, I took Linda's hand and opened the door.

When I opened the door, Olivia Hardy, my mother-in-law, yelled harshly, "You damn servant! Didn't I tell you that you are not worthy to be in the same room with us? Get out of here!"

When Olivia saw me, her arrogance did not subside, and she even sneered.
