There was a new club next to the main commercial street. I had been hanging out here for three days in a row, but this club seemed as bad as ever.
Not a single cute guy could be found here.
Marcia nudged the edge of my clothes and handed me her phone, saying, "Do you see the guy in the white shirt on our left front? I like him."
I looked in that direction but couldn't even make out half of his face.
I twitched my lips and asked, "Are you sure?"
Marcia pushed me, telling me to go immediately.
Amid the deafening noise in the club, I made my way through the crowd, came to the man in the white shirt, and patted him on the shoulder.
"Cute guy, how about we add contacts on WhatsApp?"
I raised my voice and shouted closer to him.
Unexpectedly, he turned around and called out my name in surprise, "Natalie Lee?"
As Raymond and I looked at each other in amazement, I hurriedly turned off the phone screen.
Raymond was drunk. He unconsciously put his arm around my neck and asked, "Are you here to drink with me?
"Your drink is on me today."
Before Raymond could hand me the glass of liquor, a muscular hand stopped him in front of me.
"Raymond, let go of her."
