"Where is the antivenom?"

Because of this miserable cat, I had already lost nine families and friends.

Wasn't that enough?

Oscar seemed to be looking at a cold-hearted person, disgustedly staring at me.

"You can have the antivenom, but give me the car keys."

I finally realized his purpose.

Their car broke down halfway, and they were in a hurry to take Betty's pet to the hospital but couldn't find a car.

So they thought of me, the fool.

I felt very ironic.

The man in front of me was my boyfriend who I had been in love with for many years.

I suppressed my anger and wanted to reason with him.

"Oscar, you know my parents are in the hospital now, every minute and every second is a matter of life and death..."

Oscar's brow loosened a bit, as if he was thinking.

But the next second, Betty's voice, with a crying tone, sounded.

"Oscar, Pudding's breathing has become weak. It won't be able to hold on, right?

"I'm so scared, Oscar. I won't be able to live without it."

Oscar's umbrella covered most of Betty's head, and in her arms was a lifeless cat.

Her eye sockets were red, tears on the verge of falling, looking pitiful.
