Ex-Girlfriend as BridesmaidChapter 1
My name was Laurel Coleman. After my boyfriend Esmond Frazier and I settled down, we planned to get married.
When choosing my bridesmaid, Esmond came over and asked if I had made my choice.
I said no.
He said his ex-girlfriend Daisy Covington wanted to attend our wedding and asked if she could be my bridesmaid.
I sneered. Did they think I was a fool?
He wanted his ex-girlfriend to be his current girlfriend's bridesmaid? How ridiculous!
If I agreed, and Daisy really became my bridesmaid, perhaps in their eyes, it was also a way of them getting married. Just this thought alone made me sick.
I refused to be used.
He couldn't let go of his ex-girlfriend? Fine. I might as well help them.
——
After Esmond suggested that Daisy should be my bridesmaid, I remained silent.
I was not thinking about the feasibility of this. Instead, I was trying to suppress my anger.
Esmond didn't notice that I was unhappy at all. He continued, "If it was someone else who wanted to be your bridesmaid, I would have agreed directly, but Daisy's identity is special, so I want to ask for your opinion."
