Miles didn't kill me and even sent me home.

Just like now.

I felt a bit teary-eyed and, as I got out of the car, I sincerely complimented him, “Actually, you’re quite a nice person.”

I sniffed and asked him, “Do you want to come over to the Jill Family for a visit?”

While I was talking to Miles, he kept looking behind me, his gaze a bit frightening.

After a long while, he finally replied to me.

“No, someone doesn’t welcome me.”

I turned to look behind me and saw Yale. He seemed to have just returned and there was someone else in the car.

That woman was also staring at me.

I suddenly realized that this woman had very similar features to mine.

Before I could take a closer look, Yale had already gotten out of the car and said to the person inside, “You can go first; I’m not coming over tonight.”

The car window closed and the woman obediently drove away.

Yale had the same carefree smile on his face as always. “Wow, when did you and Miles become so close?”

Noah appeared out of nowhere. He glanced at me and, without waiting for a response, said to himself, “It’s raining outside; let’s talk inside.”
