"You don't deserve to know her name!"

I knew that the only way I could save myself now was to keep myself calm.

So, I tentatively said,

"You just said that you would let me go as long as they agreed to come and rescue me, but you didn't say that I couldn't tell the truth. Did you cover my mouth just now because you wanted to go back on your word? Or are you afraid that my family will have some humanity and come to rescue me?"

Leonard did not expect me to ask this, or perhaps this question touched his nerves and he was thinking about it.

I took this opportunity to think about how I should persuade the people whom I called later to come and save me if he or she did not agree.

But then, another slap came.

"Bitch! Do you think you are someone that everyone loves? Even if I asked you to, do you really think they would come to save you?"

I held back my tears and replied, "Since you don't believe it, let's give it a try."

The man snorted coldly. "Put away your little thoughts, no one can save you today!"

He took the phone which looked broken in several parts and handed it over.

"Go on. I won't interrupt this time."

The playful look in his eyes was like he was certain no one would save me.
