My stomach hurt more and more, the blood kept flowing. My vision blurred, then everything went dark.

When I opened my eyes, Dylan was beside me. He took my hand and pulled me.

"How are you, Gisella?" he asked falsely.

"I'm fine," I said, looking at him flatly. I knew he was enjoying my pain.

"What happened? Why did you get that wound?" Dylan asked,.

I was silent for a moment, looking at Alexa. And my gaze drifted to my mother-in-law.

"Your mom made me this way," I replied irritably.

"That's not true, Dylan. I called the doctor for her!" My mother-in-law denied it.

Dylan nodded, believing her.

"She's lying, Dylan! She pushed me!" I said in a snapping voice.

But I was surprised when Dylan slapped my cheek. My eyes began to glaze over at him.

"She's my mom. I trust her more than you! Don't just because you donated a kidney think you have the right to do anything!" Dylan said, causing me to pause.

I held my breath. His heart was as hard as stone.

"Before accusing me, you should remember who you are. Without my son, you are nothing! You could be a bum or maybe a prostitute," my mother-in-law snapped and walked away from me.

"I'm disappointed in you, Gisella!" said Dylan, giving me a disgusted look.
