My Wife Worked Overtime, I Asked DivorceChapter 1
Since we had our son, my wife worked overtime almost every day and she didn’t help with the child or housework.
But she was focused on earning money for the family, so I didn’t say anything.
What puzzled me was that her overtime was always spent with her close friend in the office, often working until three or four in the morning.
At first, I didn’t mind, but later her friend even started working at our home and her friend’s husband came sometimes too.
The three of them would lock the door tightly and stay inside for a whole day and night. Sometimes the friend went downstairs to buy something and her husband continued working with my wife.
Seeing how hard they worked, I wanted to help. But my wife looked at me with disdain and said I was too low-level to understand high-tech work and would only be in the way, telling me to stay far away.
After that, I didn’t interfere.
One early morning, the day after the National Day holidays, I suddenly heard my wife scream from the study.
I quickly got up and knocked on the door for a long time.
I saw her close friend carrying my wife, who was covered in blood, rushing to the hospital.
